Working method
I start with a white canvas and thin paint, and first make an almost accidental composition. Once it's dry, I look very carefully: what fascinates me, what moves me? That's where I continue.
I keep working until I feel that surprise and recognise something, and everything falls into place. I play with chance, but I (usually) keep control.

Where you can see my work
I am a member of the artists' association Regio Art Rijnmond (RAR) in Spijkenisse. RAR has its own gallery in ’t Oude Raadhuys.
Online you can buy my work via Artmajeur.
Since 1984 I have exhibited in Rotterdam, Haarlem, Spijkenisse, Paris and Barcelona, among other places.
